One of the key challenges for many islands in the early stages of their energy transition is to gather the relevant information about the current status on the island - identifying the main sources of CO2 emissions, identifying key stakeholders on the island, understanding the policy context your island works in, and more.

Establishing this baseline ensures you have all the tools at hand to define effective and realistic transition pathways and projects.

This webinar aims to help island transition teams in establishing the status quo on the island, and give advice on the next steps. Starting with an introduction based on the experiences from the past two years of the Secretariat and the Islands Transition Handbook, you will then receive practical insights and tips from two EU islands which have successfully gone through this process and are now well underway in their energy transition.
