Until 27 October 2019, EU islands can apply for assistance from the Clean Energy for EU Islands Secretariat to advance the development of individual renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in their local community.

The institute is, in short, a fundamental part of achieving the objectives set out in the Law on climate change and energy transition. It will make it possible for renewable energy to reach where the market does not reach.
